Vorkeon — Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-10-24
Please read these terms. They are a contract between you and us. Section 10 limits our liability, section 9 says the app is provided "as is", section 11 asks you to cover us for claims caused by your use of the app, and section 5A says you alone are responsible for pay stubs, payroll deductions and signatures made in the app. You are responsible for how you and your team use Vorkeon and for everything you enter, send or sign with it. Nothing in these terms takes away rights that the consumer law where you live says cannot be taken away (section 17).
1. Who we are
Vorkeon ("we", "us") is provided by Badradin Al Abrahim, a sole proprietor carrying on business in Ontario, Canada, as Vorkeon. Our apps are published on Google Play under the developer name Craft Ai Studio.
- Mailing address: 176 Aberfoyle Avenue, Hamilton, Ontario
- Email: hello@vorkeon.com
"You" means the business that uses Vorkeon and the person who accepts these terms for it. If you accept for a business, you confirm you are allowed to bind it. Members you invite (admins, estimators, workers and others) must also follow these terms.
By creating an account, tapping I agree, or using the app, you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. We record when you accepted and which version.
2. What Vorkeon is — a tool, not an adviser
Vorkeon is software for contractors of every trade. It helps you measure, price, schedule and quote projects, send quotes and invoices for your customers to sign or pay, keep customer records, order materials, see the weather for a site, chat with your team, publish a business page, and let your workers clock in and out.
Vorkeon is a tool. We are not your adviser, your agent, your employer, your workers' employer, your payroll provider, a party to your contracts, or a payment service.
You are responsible for what you put in and what you do with it. Vorkeon works only with the information you and your team give it. We do not check that it is true, complete or lawful. If anyone uses the app wrongly, enters wrong or false information, or uses a document from the app (a quote, invoice, pay stub, time record, report or signed form) in a way that is wrong, misleading or against the law, that is the responsibility of the person and business who did it, not ours.
3. AI features and estimates — you must check everything
Vorkeon uses artificial intelligence (Anthropic's Claude models) to read documents, draft estimates and quotes, answer questions and search retailer websites for prices. It can also write and speak a short daily briefing with an AI voice.
- AI output is a suggestion, not a fact. It can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, even when it sounds sure. Quantities, measurements, labour hours, prices, schedules and wording can all be wrong.
- You are responsible for every quote you send. Before you send or sign anything, you must check the prices, quantities, measurements, scope, labour, schedule, taxes, permits, building-code and safety requirements, and the terms you offer.
- Prices found on the web are indicative. They come from public pages at the time of the search and can be wrong, out of stock or regional. Confirm with the supplier.
- Taxes are applied as you set them up. Confirm with your accountant what applies to your work and your customers.
- Schedules and weather are estimates. They are not a promise of completion dates or site conditions.
- No professional advice. Vorkeon does not give legal, tax, accounting, engineering, architectural, building-code, safety, insurance, employment or payroll advice. Get a qualified professional when you need one.
- Do not rely on Vorkeon for anything where a mistake could cause injury, death or serious damage (for example structural design, electrical or gas work, or load calculations) without independent checking by a qualified person.
4. Your quotes, your customers and e-signatures
- When your customer accepts and signs a quote, a change order or an invoice link, the agreement is only between you and your customer. You are responsible for its content, for doing the work and for any dispute about it.
- Vorkeon records what the customer chose, the name they typed, their drawn signature, the date and time, and when the link was opened. Electronic signatures are generally valid in Ontario under the Electronic Commerce Act, 2000 and in many other places, but some documents need other formalities (for example wills, powers of attorney, and some land and consumer documents), and the rules differ by province, state and country. We do not check who signed. It is your job to know what your contracts need, including any consumer-protection rules (for example cancellation rights, written estimates, and what a home-renovation contract must say).
- You must have the right to contact your customers and to give us their details.
- Invoices show your payment instructions. Your customer pays you directly (for example by Interac e-Transfer, or by card through your own Stripe account). We do not hold, move or guarantee any money, and payments you record in the app are your own record.
5. Your workers and the time clock — you are the employer
If you invite workers, you are their employer (or the business that hired them), not Vorkeon. You decide whether to use the time clock and how its records are used.
- The time clock records the time and the spot where a worker's phone is when they tap Clock in or Clock out (never in between, never in the background), whether the phone reported a fake-location app, and a photo at clock-in if you turn that on.
- You must tell your workers what is recorded and why, and get any consent the law requires before they use it. The app shows each worker a notice and asks them to confirm they read it before their first clock-in; that notice does not replace your own legal duties.
- Ontario employers with 25 or more employees on January 1 must have a written electronic monitoring policy under the Employment Standards Act, 2000, give a copy to employees, and keep it. Other places have their own rules. Vorkeon gives you a template under Settings → Electronic monitoring policy; you are responsible for completing it, giving it to your workers and following it.
- Pay, overtime and breaks are your responsibility. Timesheets, overtime (for example Ontario's default of 44 hours a week), break reminders, auto clock-out and pay estimates are a help, not payroll or legal advice. Check them against the employment standards, collective agreements and tax rules that apply to you.
- Location stamps, distances, flags ("off site", "fake location app") and the closest-project suggestion depend on what the phone reports and can be wrong. Talk to the worker before acting on them.
5A. Pay stubs, payroll deductions and signatures — you are responsible
Vorkeon can help you make pay stubs, suggest payroll deductions (such as income tax, pension and employment insurance amounts) and sign documents with a saved signature.
- You are the employer and you are responsible for every pay stub. You must check the hours, rates, pay, deductions, dates and every other detail before you issue it. Vorkeon does not check that what you enter is true.
- Suggested deductions are a help, not payroll advice. They are worked out from the published government formulas and rates we have, and from the information you enter (for example the worker's tax claim amounts and year-to-date totals). They can be wrong if that information is wrong or out of date, if rates change, if a special rule applies, or for places and situations the app does not cover. Check them, or ask your accountant or payroll professional.
- Remitting and reporting are your job. You are responsible for withholding, sending deductions to the government on time, year-end slips and forms (for example T4s, W-2s or P60s), records you must keep, and following employment standards and tax law where you and your workers are. Vorkeon does not file or pay anything for you.
- Saved and automatic signatures. When you save a signature or turn on automatic signing, you authorise the app to put that signature on documents for you as you set up, and it counts as you signing. Only save your own signature, keep your account secure, and turn automatic signing off if you do not want it. Anyone you add as a signer is responsible for their own signature.
- No false documents. Never use Vorkeon to make a pay stub, income record or other document that is false, for example to get a loan, rent a home, claim benefits or mislead anyone. You alone are responsible if you do.
- We are not responsible for any loss, fine, penalty, interest, claim or dispute that comes from a pay stub, deduction, remittance, signature or document made with the app.
6. Your account
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. Vorkeon is a business tool and is not for children.
- Keep your sign-in private. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for what the people you invite do. We recommend turning on 2-step verification.
- The owner of a business decides who is a member, what each person can see and do, and is responsible for those choices. Data in a business belongs to that business, not to any one member.
- Tell us right away if you think someone else is using your account.
7. Your content and how we use it
- You own your content: documents, photos, customer details, quotes, rates, messages and everything else you upload or create.
- You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, process, transmit and display your content only to run, secure and support the service for you — including sending it to our service providers (section 13) when you use a feature that needs them, such as AI. This licence ends when your content is deleted, except for copies in backups for the short time they last.
- You confirm you have the right to upload what you upload and to publish what you put on your business page (for example your customer's OK to show photos of their home).
- We do not sell your content and we do not use it to train AI models. Our AI provider does not train its models on it either (see the Privacy Policy).
- Suggestions you send us about the app can be used without paying you.
8. Acceptable use
Do not use Vorkeon to:
- break any law, including privacy, anti-spam (such as Canada's CASL), consumer-protection, employment and human-rights laws;
- send quote, invoice or other messages to people who did not ask to hear from you, or add people to mailing lists without their consent;
- monitor people secretly, or track workers outside work;
- upload content that is illegal, infringing, hateful, harassing or that you have no right to share, or malware;
- try to get into another business's data, test or break our security, reverse-engineer the app (except where the law allows it), scrape it, or overload it;
- resell or share access outside your business;
- use the AI features for things unrelated to running your business, or to make false or misleading documents;
- make false pay stubs, income records, invoices, quotes, time records or signatures, or sign for someone else without their permission.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
9. No warranties
To the extent the law allows, Vorkeon is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure from every attack, or that AI output, prices, tax amounts, schedules, weather, time records or pay calculations will be accurate or fit for your purpose. We do not give any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. Keep your own copies of important records (you can export quotes as PDF).
10. Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows:
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profit, lost revenue, lost contracts or customers, under-priced or over-priced jobs, wrong quantities, wrong time records, pay, pay stubs or deductions, taxes or remittances, fines, penalties or interest, misuse of the app by you, your team or anyone else, wrong information entered by anyone, missed deadlines, lost data, or harm to reputation, even if we were told they were possible.
- Our total liability for all claims related to Vorkeon is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim, or CAD $100 if you paid nothing.
- These limits apply whatever the legal theory (contract, negligence or otherwise).
- Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, for wilful misconduct, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.
11. You cover us for your business
To the extent the law allows, the business using Vorkeon will defend and indemnify us against claims, losses, fines and reasonable legal costs brought by your customers, your workers, your team or government authorities that arise from your quotes, contracts, work, workplace, employment practices, pay, pay stubs, payroll deductions and remittances, signatures, monitoring of workers, content, any misuse of the app by you or your team, wrong or false information you or your team enter, or your breach of these terms or the law. We will tell you about the claim and let you take part in defending it. This section does not apply to a consumer where the law does not allow it.
12. Data protection — who is responsible for what
- For your own account details, we decide how they are used (we are the "controller" or the organisation responsible).
- For the personal information you put into Vorkeon about other people — your customers, homeowners, your workers and team, their time records, locations, photos and messages — your business is the controller (the organisation in charge of it) and we are your processor / service provider. We process it only to provide the service, on your instructions in the app, and as these terms and the Privacy Policy describe.
- You are responsible for having a lawful reason to collect and use that information, for giving people the notices the law requires, and for answering their requests. We will help you where reasonable and pass on requests that come to us.
- We will: keep it confidential; let only people and providers who need it reach it; protect it with reasonable security; use only the service providers listed in the Privacy Policy, under contracts that protect the data, and update that list when it changes; tell you without undue delay if we learn of a breach that affects it; help you answer requests from the people it is about; and delete it when you delete it or your account, except for short-lived backups and what the law makes us keep.
- Data may be stored and processed outside your province or country (for example in the United States). See the Privacy Policy.
- If you need a signed data processing agreement (for example under the GDPR or the UK GDPR), write to us.
13. Service providers and other services
We rely on other companies to run Vorkeon (listed in the Privacy Policy), such as Supabase, Fly.io, Anthropic, ElevenLabs, OpenAI, Expo, Google, Apple, RevenueCat, Stripe, OpenStreetMap services (Nominatim, Overpass and Photon), Open-Meteo and Environment Canada. Their services can change or be unavailable, and their own terms apply to you when you use them directly (for example Google Play, the App Store or Stripe). We are not responsible for retailer websites or other third-party sites the app links to.
14. Plans, payments, renewals and cancelling
Paid plans are shown in the app with their price, currency, billing period and what they include before you pay. One plan covers the whole business. AI use may be limited by plan; the limits are shown in the app.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period (monthly or yearly) at the price then shown, until you cancel. You can cancel any time; your plan stays on until the end of the period you already paid for, and nothing more is charged.
- Google Play (Android): billed by Google. Cancel in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, or from Settings → Subscription in the app. Refunds follow Google Play's policy.
- App Store (iPhone and iPad): billed by Apple. Cancel in your iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or from Settings → Subscription in the app. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policy.
- Website, by card (Stripe): billed by our payment processor, Stripe. Cancel any time in Settings → Manage card plan — no phone call or email needed. If a renewal payment fails, Stripe tries again for a short time; if it still fails, your business moves to the Free plan. Plan changes are prorated by Stripe.
- Website, by Interac e-Transfer: you send the amount shown and tell us in the app. We switch the plan on by hand once we receive the money, until the date shown as Paid plan until. It does not renew by itself; to continue, send the next payment before that date.
Refunds: payments already made are not refunded, except where the store's policy, the law, or we decide otherwise. Do not pay twice for the same business through different ways; if that happens, tell us and we will sort it out.
Price changes: we will tell you in advance (by email or in the app, at least 30 days before for a paid plan) and the new price applies from your next renewal. If you do not agree, cancel before then.
Free plan and free periods: the Free plan includes the features the Plans screen shows. We may give a business a free plan or a trial for a time; we can end it, and the business then moves to the Free plan unless it subscribes.
Taxes: prices may include or add sales tax as shown at checkout.
15. "Get jobs sent to you" — a separate service
- Job leads are a separate, invite-only service. We decide which businesses get it and can switch it off at any time. A subscription does not include it, and we do not promise any number or kind of leads.
- Homeowners you receive asked for quotes and agreed to be contacted by up to 3 local contractors about their job. Contact them only about that request, and follow anti-spam (CASL) and Do Not Call rules.
- Do not sell, share or reuse their details, add them to mailing lists, or keep contacting them after they say no. If a homeowner asks you to delete their details, do so.
- We pass on requests as they come and do not check them. We are not responsible for whether a homeowner hires you.
16. Changes, suspension and ending
- The service: we may change, add or remove features. If we stop the whole service we will give at least 60 days' notice so you can export your data.
- These terms: if we make a material change, we will tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before it applies (sooner only where the law or a security need requires), and may ask you to accept again. If you do not agree, stop using Vorkeon and cancel; your plan stays on to the end of the paid period. Otherwise the new terms apply from the date shown.
- You can stop at any time and delete your account in the app (Settings → Delete my account; workers: Me → Delete my account) or by email.
- We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or the law, if you do not pay, or to protect the service or other people, with notice where reasonable. While a business is paused its data stays safe, and you can still sign out or ask us to delete it.
- Sections 2, 3, 4, 5, 5A, 7 (licence for backups), 9, 10, 11, 12, 17 and 18 continue after the agreement ends.
17. Governing law and disputes
- These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
- Any dispute goes to the courts in Toronto, Ontario, and you and we agree to that court's jurisdiction.
- Consumers keep their local rights. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer laws of where you live still apply and you may be able to bring a claim in your local courts. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.
- Talk to us first. Before starting a claim, please write to us and give us 30 days to try to solve it.
- To the extent permitted by law, claims must be brought individually and not as a class or representative action. If this is not enforceable for you, it does not apply to you.
18. General
- Force majeure: we are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as outages of our providers, internet failures, natural disasters, war, strikes or government action.
- Severability: if a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, that part is limited as little as necessary and the rest stays in force.
- Entire agreement: these terms, the Privacy Policy and the plan details shown at purchase are the whole agreement about Vorkeon. If we do not enforce a right right away, we have not given it up.
- Assignment: you may not transfer these terms without our written consent. We may transfer them to someone who takes over Vorkeon, and will tell you if we do.
- App stores: if you got the app from Google Play or the App Store, these terms are between you and us, not Google or Apple. Apple and Google have no duty to support the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms for App Store users and may enforce them.
- Language: these terms are written in English. If a translation differs, the English version applies, except where the law requires otherwise.
- Notices: we send notices to the email on your account or in the app. You send notices to the email below.
